Frequently Asked Questions

What does “vegan” mean?

Vegan food is free of all animal products.  No eggs, dairy, gelatine, meat, honey, or anything else that came from an animal!

Why would I want to eat vegan food?

Vegan (and vegetarian) diets are far friendlier to the environment as well as nicer to our animal buddies.

Vegan food is also great for anyone who’s lactose intolerant or has allergies to dairy or eggs, or who avoids animal products for religious reasons.

And when it comes down to it, our products are really darn yummy.  They compare or beat the quality and flavour of the non-vegan baked goods on the market.  You don’t need to follow a vegan diet in order to enjoy vegan food -- your taste buds will be very happy.

Our products are for everyone to enjoy, and many are quite healthy -- we have a few indulgent treats, but the majority of our products are far lower in calories, sugar, and fat than the rest of the grab-and-go type snacks out there!  Even our decadent snacks are healthier than many of their counterparts on the market.
